Oh my gosh I am so grateful for you! I woke up this morning not in a great mood for reasons I didn't understand (I probably had a bad dream and can't remember it was )) and I thought what do I want to read what will help and I thought of Catherine Price! and just read this one and was laughing hysterically by the end. You're brilliant and I'm grateful you exist thank you! I'm sending this to my daughter who has two young ones I think she'll get a kick out of it too.

Haha that was way more fun than tidying up (especially when it will get untidy again by tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow)

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. Totally laughed out loud. Could be my kids' rooms (yours, NOT the article designer's!) 🤣😅 Thank you for this lovely moment of amusement...and belonging!

Your system and my system are the same! The picture comparison is incredibly relatable.

As a mother of two I laughed at this. One thing I've been doing for a while now is picking up all the stray Nerf bullets and putting them inside my son's shoes that are left on the stairs. In the years I've been doing this he's never once mentioned it until yesterday morning on the way to school he realized there was a bullet in his shoe that he had been wearing for at least 15 minutes. I had a good chuckle at that.

Brilliant, this made me laugh out loud. It's so true on many levels. Mess isn't mess unless it's dirt. Stuff likes to move around and have a change of scene just like we do.

Loved your approach and your pics especially the last bonus one 😂We are getting quotes for a kitchen renovation and one consultant didn’t listen to our needs at all just kept doubling down on an idea he liked that would shrink our small kitchen’s pantry down - his solution to that was to just put stuff randomly elsewhere 🤨😤 wasted our time. My husband and I have been riffing off the absurd “design” approach for a few days which has helped heaps with moving on and finally finding someone who think is a really great designer 🤞

I don't have kids but still appreciate this. I unsubscribed to Real Simple years ago as it made me feel inadequate. I'm supposed to wash my curtains every quarter? You mean every quarter century?

What's irritating me: Our contractor who seems unable to finish a small job and uses our basement as storage for his tools, including those he's not using. How I'll find humor in it: It's actually quite funny that I have a 65 year old man, who is a 6 foot 5 Sasquatch with a long ponytail, who lives in my basement during the day playing classic rock and occasionally working, and then leaves at night. And I pay him to be here. Absolutely absurd when I really think about it.

"Your mission today, if you choose to accept it, is to identify something in your life that is annoying, and try to figure out a way to laugh about it or make it feel just a little bit lighter or fun."

Memes - yesterday, today, every day. My wife and family don't all get it, but that's what memes are for me.
