Oh my goodness, not sure how this came to me but thank the universe it did!! What a wonderful post! I so love that swing dancing, not that I've tried it but I would love to. The joy of play gives our lives so much depth and connection. Can't wait for your next post.

Yeah, agreed. We do need to allocate a fair amount of our time to things that we genuinely enjoy doing, namely our hobbies or passions.

I love swing dancing! It's been years since I've done it...I do play regularly, with my kids, but I've realized that I also need to do my own play: things that I would do whether or not I have kids. But how deeply I've bought into the belief that I just don't have enough time. That's my struggle.
