These articles are great. I have a 14, 16 and 18 year old - all without phones. They are thriving and don't complain about it. They actually all get it as we talk about it. The kids are all very socially adept, focused and fun kids. Happy to give encouragement for anyone that is struggling with family phone decisions.

Hi! I just became a paid subscriber so I can read your full essay on choosing the right phone/watch/tech for your kids. Thanks for writing it. I serve on our elementary school’s PTA and we’re brainstorming ways to host a parent night to help parents make decisions about tech for kids. Rather than reinventing the wheel, is there any site or resource you’ve made or know of where PTAs can roll out a workshop for parents regarding all the options they have when choosing tech for their children? I liked how you created a demo table for smartphone alternatives at your kid’s school. I want to turn that into a roundtable discussion of parents who have used different devices and then also provide hands on time for parents to learn more about each device. Thanks for any advice you can give!
