Hi everyone! You can use this thread to share some of your ideas for what fun factors and fun magnets you will experiment with this weekend (or week!). We’ll use this thread for the rest of the funtervention as a place where you can put your intentions down in writing, so that we can serve as each other’s accountability buddies. Also, feel free to share your successes OR your “fun fails” — after all, things that are not fun in the moment can end up being fun stories afterwards.
In case it’s helpful, here are the specific prompts I suggested in this week’s post:
What’s one fun magnet that you could carve out time for?
What’s one new thing you could try, do, or say yes to, that involves one or more of your fun factors? (Bonus points if this is not something that immediately jumps out to you as “fun.”)
Bonus bonus points: What’s something you will not do this weekend that often gets in the way of your ability to have fun?
My wife has decided we will go for a walk every afternoon and discuss our delights of the day and identify delights as we walk. For me it is is just a delight seeing how delighted she is with this. And she is doing counseling for several people and has them all identifying delights. January has been delightful so far!
